Mandala series

Age-old symbols used in a variety of spiritual belief systems, mandalas represent deeper consciousness. The characters (each chosen for dramatic appeal) interact with or react to the mandalas, are affected by this deeper consciousness.

All mandalas are collage with digital printing. Background mandalas were created using a computer and a tablet and pen. All characters are collaged and raised above the background, except where noted. Those pieces with encroaching color—for example, Mandala (the 7th sense)—have additional collage. All sizes are approximate and unframed.
